SoarinXRainbow: First meeting

Rainbow Dash was flying and destroying rain clouds when her boss came flying up. She stopped and blinked at the stallion.
"What is it Riptide?" she asked.
The white stallion smiled,"Well, we have a new member. He's a pretty fast flyer, I bet you already know him."
"Huh?"

Soarin came flying up when Riptide called his name. Rainbow's mouth hung open as she gazed at the baby blue stallion. "I'm sure you two will get a long." Riptide said before flying off.
Soarin smiled shyly, "Um...name's Soarin...you must be RainbowDash?" he asked.
"Uh...yeah...name's Rainbow Dash. So....have you taken care of weather before?"
"Yes, in Cloudsdale, but got moved to Ponyville."
"Don't the Wonderbolts have practices and shows though?"
"Well...since Spitfire is injured, we can't make any. She's the captain and a big part of the show. Every pony loves her more than the others."
"What? I don't! I mean...she's cool and everything, but you're awesome! I always laugh at the jokes you make on tv!"
"You do? You're the only one who likes them."
"Well, I think they're funny. Aren't you and Spitfire...."
"Dating? No! She's like a sister to me..."
"Oh..." she smiled, "Well lets get to work. We'll have a little competition. Lets see who's faster!" she challenged.
Soarin grinned, "You're on!"

Both ponies raced each other, destroying as many clouds as they could. Rainbow Dash got done before Soarin did. The stallion was panting and so was the mare.
"You're fast! I'm shocked you're not already a Wonderbolt!"
Rainbow blushed, "Aw...thanks."
